Abstract

Kertas kerja ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti perbezaan antara kepimpinan transformasional, kepimpinan transaksional dan kepimpinan instruksional di sekolah. Selain itu, kajian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti tahap kepimpinan transformasional, kepimpinan transaksional dan kepimpinan instruksional antara sekolah prestasi akademik tinggi (SPAT) dan sekolah prestasi akademik rendah (SPAR). Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dalam kepimpinan transformasional dan kepimpinan instruksional antara SPAT dan SPAR. Di samping itu juga, kajian ini mendapati bahawa tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan dalam kepimpinan transaksional antara SPAT dan SPAR. Kertas kerja ini mencadangkan jika sesebuah sekolah mahu meningkatkan prestasi akademik, maka gaya kepimpinan transformasional dan gaya kepimpinan instruksional perlu diamalkan di setiap sekolah.
